Leonard J. Brandt co-founded CNS Response Inc., in 2000 and served as its Chief Executive Officer until April 10, 2009. Brandt served as the Principal Financial Officer, Principal Accounting Officer, and Secretary at CNS. Brandt served as the President of CNS Response Inc., until October 2007. Brandt started his career with Norwest Venture Capital in 1980. From 1983 to 1990, he served as Vice President of Norwest Growth Fund and was a General Partner of Norwest Venture Partners and was primarily responsible for its investments in the healthcare industry, including several involving the behavioral health industry. He led the fund’s investment activity throughout the 1980’s in all areas of the healthcare including, biopharmaceutical, healthcare services, medical devices, and diagnostics. In 1995, Brandt co-founded Time Segment Publishing, Inc. and served as its President until 1999. In 1999, Brandt co-founded Embro Vascular, LLC. He also individually provided consulting to early stage ventures from 1993 to 1998. He co-founded Mill City Venture Consulting in 1998. Brandt’s involvement with an innovative supplier of neurostimulation lead technology, Micronet Medical, (purchased by Advanced Neuromodulation Systems and then St. Jude Medical (STJ)), refocused his attention on CNS analytics and treatment. Brandt served as Executive Chairman at CNS Response Inc. until April 10, 2009. He serves as a Director at DermaGenoma, Inc., HairDX, LLC and PsoriasisDX, LLC. Brandt has been United States Member of the government of New Zealand Trade and Enterprise Advisory Board since 2005. He served as Executive Director of CNS Response Inc. from March 7, 2007 to December 2, 2009.
Len Brandt holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Commerce at University of Illinois and a Masters of Business Administration from Harvard University.
